16: Introduction to Imam Malik & His Muwatta | Mufti Ismail Moosa

This Ramaḍān intensive endeavours to present an overview of Imām Mālik’s life and his Muwaṭṭa, including a detailed study of the first few āḥadīth from it.

This session covers the following discussions:

- The time for ‘aṣr according to the four madhāhib

- How the Ḥanafīs explain the second ḥadīth [of the Muwaṭṭa] as proof for delaying ‘aṣr

- The proofs and supporting evidence of the ḥanafīs regarding the delaying of ‘aṣr
